It is all about Wimbledon for him.

Rublev is in another ATP 500 semi. can't lose. He hasn't missed a shot this tournament. *

*cause he has had 2 walkovers and a bye and hasn't played a match yet this week

It's a different way to get a few days off...

Some strange scheduling from Ramos. Plays the clay courters in South America and then flies to Dubai. You'd think you would go from South America to Mexico to Miami. Maybe he will go play clay challengers in Europe instead of Miami or something.

think he is off to the early european events as has being stated, chasing points to build ranking. Going to be a strong clay court season this year i think with not to much happening in the US at the moment for the tennis players

I’m trying to catch up on about 6 tournaments. It’s stressful. Anyway just wanted to say before it gets lost amongst everything that the Alcaraz kid looks like he will be an absolute gem. Got smoked in the end but showed more than enough. At 17 he has a long, long time to improve and work on any deficiencies. But generally, everything looked solid. He was smoking some of those shots, off both wings, and moved well. Will watch closely.

Aslan showing the Aus open was no fluke.

He's actually freaking good. Which makes you think what happened before as to why he couldn't have these results.

Yeah, the WTA side looks so much stronger than the ATP. There's a few Aussies in the men's so hopefully some can sneak a couple of matches

My understanding is that Miami slashed prizemoney by nearly 50% - WTA tour is not as strong as the ATP in these COVID times, so the women will take every opportunity to play.

There are bugger all clay tournaments on the WTA tour compared to the men so rankings wise the top women are comparatively pretty poor on clay. Last chance for a few to make some bank for a while. Without IW doesn't make a lot of sense for the top men to travel to the US for one tournament. Lots of local US players on the WTA side as well.
