I doubt very much anyone is posting on an Australian made PC or phone. I doubt very much that anyone is posting on a PC or phone that is not substantively made in China.

So, this is one of those, lets all boycott China, unless its inconvenient, type boycotts.

China is quaking in its boots about all those goods people are talking about not buying.
 
I was craving some noodles yesterday but I thought about this thread and went straight for a pizza. I bought the Aussie pizza to be patriotic even though the egg makes me a bit ill.

Take that Chairman Mao! I will bring you to your knees meal by meal.
 
It's very disappointing to read some comments by posters who are so submissive and servile when it comes to China. It is not the Australian way to be fawning to other countries. These yielding, dutiful posters obviously are not true blue Aussies with being so obedient when it comes to China.
 
I too have stopped buying made in china product, and have encouraged many many others to do the same.

The response I get from the naysayers is "But we are just a small player on the world stage, and your actions won't even cause a ripple in the grand scheme of things."

To those people I say "That's like saying Australia is too small to do anything about climate change."

Hard to tell if this post is self satire or not.
 
This poses somewhat of a dilemma , I am having hip replacement number six next week. If the new hip prosthetic comes form China am I doomed?
Fooking hell, it could have a microchip or spyware in it or a listening device.

The Chinese will hear me calling out Chris Scott, I could be shot
