Are wingers really going to average 90-100 this year?
Not a blanket statement, but in Stevo's case, he's got a lot going for him. Getting CBA's, will play on the wing, can play high half forward, and play deep forward, and he can run. I won't get him in now, but I reckon he'll prove to be one of the bargain of the seasons. Happy to pick him up at $450k in a few weeks time if he's still killing it

I disagree JM. Powell, Thomas and Tyson all had bulk CBA's, they'll lose theirs before Stevo imo

I won't pick him after 1 week, but I reckon he'll be the $350k breakout of the season, just need to see a couple more rounds

Tyson will probably be dropped this week, Anderson will come back this week or next, Cunners will come back next week, see what Stevo does then

Even without the CBA's he should still go 90-100 playing on a wing
He played off the wing for most of the game with some stints at the center bounces, had 10 CBA's with 5 clearances.

He had 25 touches against Hawthorn in the last practice game also.

If anything, I think his CBA's increase given his clearance numbers.

He's going to be our wingman for a long time imo. We will ditch Polec before we move Stephenson imo.

Tyson will go for Anderson as early as this week.

Cunners and LDU I think will get rotated forward.

Powell will be a feature fairly quickly at more and more CBA's, his hands are on Cunningtons level.

Phillips will be rotated off the bench when he's introduced.

Simpkin will be the one fazed out into more of a half forward/wing role in coming years imo.

The 2023 midfield setup will be Phillips, Powell and LDU.

Sinn/Horne, Simpkin Stephenson on the wings and half forward.

Happy to be proven wrong (I just like being a campaigner) but I reckon I'm going to stay clear of Stevo.

Would definitely want to see how he goes first with Norths full compliment of midfielders playing.

Cunnington has been marked indefinite with concussion this morning.

It's only really Anderson and Phillips to come back then.

Tyson will go to the VFL for Anderson and Phillips isn't a like for like.

But agree, see how he goes for the first 3-4 rounds.

Is anyone tempted by Buddy ....

312k, tempted to ditch the sh*t truck Dow to him ... yes unseen but if he’s right to go he’s done the work. Or is he 100% past it in terms of scoring.
Looks like he’s carrying a bit (lot) of extra baggage from what I’ve seen. Big risk, reckon he’ll be blowing like Puffin’ Billy after a couple of leads up the ground!

Tops 6 forwards for the year Danger, Dunks, Dusty, Marshall...who else?
Will Zorko be strong enough for a D6?

Agreed that the first 4 are all 105-110 average players. Marshall may not end top 6 average if has a slower start upon return but I think he'll average 105-110 for the majority of teams that get him in if that makes sense.

Heeney the other one capable of jumping into that zone. Would give him a 95-105 range.

Walters, Zorko, Sidebottom all in that 98-102 mark.

Butters, Greene, Hawkins, Ziebell (easy scoring role continuing permitting) 95+.

6 of those 12 will hold you in good stead.

I identified Dangerfield, Dunkley, Dusty and Marshall as the 4 premiums I want to end up with at start of the year, only started with Dusty. I've also picked Butters and Greene who I feel are slightly undervalued compared to the others being overvalued. So Danger, Dunkley and Marshall are my target but I'd happily take Walters, Zorko or Heeney if round 1 is a sign of things to come too.

That’s the thing, you basing that on average or total points?

Case could be argued Rowan and Danger might not make top 6 with missed games although Danger will probably go 120 coming back so he’ll make it in.

Id go with Dusty Dunks Butters Zorko Sidey and then you could guess from 5-10 who they’d be if we’re talking total points.

id say titch and telly then.
im not 100% sold on telly, you would know more about him then me. I dont think he has 110ppg in him.
Yeah tend to agree on Telly.
If iI didn't have Cripps and TT also I'd probably go for it.
I can get Dunks Laird and Titch in the next 3 weeks
By downgrading a expensive rook next week.

Or I could just bring in Zorko but he seems risky this early on and a bit pricy too.

I've got 1,138,200 in the puswah to spend on any posse I want.
2005 Miranda has been considered. :moustache: :thumbsu:
im really trying not to say titch and ldu.
lol
titch is obvious.
i dont like zorkos old man issues.
He will be worth a pick later in the year. But to buy him now there is 21 games remaining.
You would have to assume he will miss some games.
butters do it for you?

You reckon hes got a 100 season in him?
Would need it to match, say Laird goes 107 and Dunks goes 107 also.

214 SC points vs Titch and Butters 115 100.

Titch does give me a Captain option too.

you 100% need titch.
He is a chance at top scorer for the year if he gets back to previous form. I think 610k is cheap for a player with that possibility.
if you dont get him here, he's someone who could go up quick.
id go titch and butters.
