I was hoping to see a match sim to see if they would participate. Doesn’t look like that’s happening. McDonald, Dumont and Taylor ended up running laps while the rest are doing skills training. McDonald worked so hard. He’s now doing skills with the coaches. Looks spent. Such a good trainer

has declared he feels like a new person after having a benign cyst removed so he's being treated to the full debut experience - parents flown in, jumper presented by the coach and a bunch of men without shirts, the works.

McDonald back next week?

Hope so. We’ll see if he plays in the VFL. Looks very fit. Certainly not leaving it to chance. Participated in all the main drills and then ran laps at a high pace while everyone else was practicing goal kicking and general skills. Thought he’d head to the showers after that but spent time working on ground ball skills with the coaches. He’s working his arse off to get back for sure.
