I think that predictor obviously becomes way more persuasive after five rounds at least...too early to tell yet even with algorithmic assist...still fun but thats all...depressing fun at that!!

Actually I amended what I originally wrote because I wanted to beat Port by more than what Geelong did in 2007.
Originally we won by eight points. But it’s all my imagination anyway. We’ve won the flag about thirty seven times in my imagination. ;)
 
Squiggle obviously not impressed with our loss to Melbourne. If we win the next two it will be a lot nicer to us. Although we probably have to smash the Bombers as that's what it would expect.

Probably rely a lot on scores for and against and we've had two low scoring games and one where the score against was luckily not at the league average conversion rate.

Honestly if any of those played this week against us we'd only be favourites to beat North and Freo.

That’s fair enough. Hopefully we have a bunch more players available in three weeks.

That’s still finals. Let me see what my imagination can come up with.
 
Also even in 1997 we were 1-4 not 1-5

that turned into 5-4 and eventually 15-7. Interesting fact about 97 - the three teams we lost to between round 6 and the end of the year were Geelong in round 10, bulldogs in round 13 and Adelaide in round 15 - these three teams along with us made the top four (ladder wise that is) we faced only one of these teams a second time that year and lost... in the gf.
 
Okay I did it. Long story short we beat Richmond by 78 points in the grand final.

here’s my guess: (assuming they do 6 rounds again)

hawthorn - Sunday early
Gold Coast - Saturday night - fox
Geelong - Sunday twilight
Bulldogs - Saturday twilight
North - Sunday twilight
Sydney - Saturday twilight

To be honest we earned that fixture so it wouldn't surprise. We aren't even playing attractive footy let alone being competitive. You'd rather they hide us off broadway.
 
If the AFL screw us because of one poor performance then they can get stuffed. They were very happy to give us the hardest fixture even though we finished 5th.

What about a couple of games where the opposition is off a shorter break than us? Already played Melbourne off a shorter break and have Richmond next week off a shorter break.
