The Los Angeles Clippers plan to sign DeMarcus Cousins to a 10-day contract. Cousins will give the Clippers additional depth at center behind Ivica Zubac and Serge Ibaka.

Cousins will have to clear the NBA's health and safety protocols before signing the deal.

The Houston Rockets waived Cousins in late February.

I'm sure if he'd been willing to forfeit this year's salary we'd have let him walk to wherever he wanted to go. Unfortunately for him the Nets don't have any expiring $15 mill contracts to send us, and he wants the majority of that $15 million paid to him, so Dallas it is.
