*, it'd be unreal if Archer went crazy in 2021, showing a heap of surprise development, making the national champs and pushing himself into 1st round pick territory. It's about time we got a bit of ******* luck and Geelong in the early 2000s showed how much impact getting father-sons in as well as high picks can have. I hope Archer, Darby Scott, and Cooper Harvey over the next two years are all top 10-15 prospects.

Also, on a side note, this is the first generation of kids coming through who the sons of players that were my idols growing up, in Archer and Harvery. It's a bit of a weird feeling.

Think it’d be better if we got other top 30 kids , on top of these f/s.
They can show enough to get drafted and explode when they’re in our colours

Ideally he goes after our 2nd round pick. Don't exactly want him going 15 if we have 19.
Mate, my point is that it would be unreal if they were first round pick quality. We'd effectively be bringing in 5 1st rounders in 2 years if they are, that sort of F/S luck has kickstarted and sustained rebuilds in the past.

Would be unreal but the AFL will somehow * it up again for us like when they changed father/son eligibility criteria from 50 games to 100 games and because of that we missed out on Kelly and the Brayshaw boys. Also from memory Geelong picked up Scarlet and Ablett as 3rd rnd f/s selections when they got drafted as this was the rules at the time. Pricks basically had a couple of bonus 1st rounders can’t remember who they picked up with those. Probably Bartel, Enright or Chapman etc.

it's probably good for the league that absolute rorts like this can't happen anymore, just sucks we never got to be the ones to capitalise on it

Would’ve had to be reduced to 30 to get the Brayshaws.

Surely he nominates North to play with his brother

If he was in the Swines academy then they would have been developing him for the last 8 years.

North probably sent him a letter and asked for his credit card details.

If Jackson is drafted to our club and wishes to wear his father's number......no person should deny him of this.

Spud is the godfather of the 11 now.

Luke will decide who gets it next.
