I don't mind playing Wood as the 2nd KPD, it's probably a better use of his current day talents. Hipwood doesn't like physicality so if Wood can engage him I don't think it will matter what he gives away in height/weight.

I think we've made a really smart decision going with a smaller backline. Likely to be raining and windy as hell so it'll be hard for their talls to mark.

Actually feel Gardner would've thrived in these conditions. Favours spoiling defenders over marking ones

The sub doesn't need to replace the person coming off. If a forward's injured they'd just put JJ or Dale forward, if a midfielder's injured we have about 5 spare ones

Our forward line is three marking talls and three mids, and the only specialist forward named in the whole 22 is Bruce. In the wind and rain, I really think we’re short a crumber.
