Lucky wasn’t the right word. Meant more lucky for the league they rectified and didn’t cause more dramas for themselves.

Teams player points were allocated when hillsides were etc (start of the week) by the league mate it’s leagues job to allocate points no one else’s. If they make a mistake and people pick it up then great. It should be adjusted, but But no club should be punished for the league being utterly useless and can’t count. EK were not the only team to play over in 2019 so we’re TL but u conveniently forget about them.

We won’t agree on this because if we reverse the story and it was hillside whose points were mis calculated 2 seasons ago and they played over then my view would be the same. Leagues fault. Where as your view would change and agree with me.

We have been rated the 4th best league and we can’t have officials calculate points correctly how can any club be punished if the people employed by the league can’t count and allocate correctly.

There are two blatant mistakes on Tullas list now.

Another pointless irrelevant opinion from a one eyed EK hater.

how about TL? they were over also.. they cheaters too? But Yeah that is how it works now with the points. My point being is a club could essentially be able to lodge every single player at 1 point and the league SHOULD be able to pick it up.

That mean hillside and tulla have cheated this year? They lodged points lower then what they should be. Hillsides were picked up, Tullas have not been. Are they cheaters cause their point calculations were wrong ???

Why don’t you name the players who have the wrong points on the tulla team list???

Im sure many club officials are already all over it but Limbach for one should be a 5. Came from a higher league and 3 clubs in 3 years and transferred after the eligable date to lower a point. Makes him a 5 not 4.

Just wondering why Bongetti and Scanlon not named as new players for East Keilor?
Are the injured or been named in the 2’s, would have thought they would be certainties to play seniors?
Good luck to all teams on the weekend

Bongetti is captain so what did he think of the incident mentioned above. I’m sure being captain he wouldn’t be happy to hear these things going on off field. Is there something more to this 🤔🤔

Great to finally have local footy back.

Some big games to open the season and see where the top teams are at.

EK vs WM
- Unfortunately will be a fizzer. EK to win by 60+ points in a high scoring game. Too many recruits to name for EK. By half time Heath Shaw will be sitting in WM's little away rooms thinking 'Is this really the standard I've decided to play all year when I'm still good enough to be on an AFL list'. Hopefully Tax Free Money buys Happiness.
TULLA vs WC
- Cracking close game. Tulla by 10 points. West Coburg have built a great side and Archer and Dunn are massive in's up forward and hard to stop. With Tulla they've improved up fwd with Limbach as well and with the inclusion of Laurie, Micallef & Lang should help strengthen their backline and contain West Coburg.
RUP vs APW
- No idea about how this will turn out. APW by 24 points. Yes APW have lost a few players but should be mid road this year.
ROXY vs SUNBURY
- Roxy to make a statement. Roxy by 42 points. Like how Roxy have been building their team and now get the added experience of Ben Johnson which is a huge in.

Is the EDFL the worse run league in the state? If they allow clubs to flaunt rules and they do absolutely nothing (for the 2nd year running) then I say this competition is a joke. Either they don’t have the skills to do the job or they are taking 💰. Repeat of 2019 already.
I can a few team changes from Friday till game time obviously due to points but there are more errors. Can’t just keep using the “oh it was an oversight”
Majority of clubs try hard and there volunteers are working through difficult times as are coaches but why should they put up with this!!
Where has the stuff up occurred Turbo? You seem to have the inside word on something?

Massive day at the club and huge call out to the Sunbury crew who stuck around all day and their policy to support the clubs the play against. Huge credit to them.

Game started well with 2 goals to roxy within 50 seconds and looked like a one way street early. The roos stuck to their guns though and improved after quarter time but the early blitz did the job. Thought Elliott clear best on ground and looks to have taken a lot from his time in the pre season at Preston. Barbera was good off half back while Raaf went back late and steadied them with a clear head. Thought the conditions didn't really suit us with the wind and rain so happy to get the points.

Streiff was good as usual for the roos who were clearly missing Ferras and Saad Saad. The back line held up well late and don't think they will be terrible this year.

Just happy to start off with 4 points early. Johnson will only get better for the run and still a lot to work with for us as a lot of new guys need to time gel.

Looks like Rupo weren't too bad against Airport West. Interesting year ahead.

Interested in Turbos and Bash's thoughts on EK today. Wonder how heater went
How was it out there Roxy
I didn’t manage to get out to a div 1 game as was at Haddy and east which was a great contest
How were Sunbury and who played well for both sides?

It was a solid hit out, decent crowd there also. WM supporters in the pocket were awesome and provided a few laughs.

EK controlled the game and kept WM to a goal in the first half, but WM did well to peg back a few in the third quarter and build some momentum at that point tho the wind had really picked up and they were kicking with it. Heater played well.

Castello was nowhere, barely got a touch. I like Marwan as a player he did well. Was their best in my opinion
