Another questionable choice of colours for the umpires tonight.
The sky blue is very close to Port's teal.
Surely they have a red or pink type kit?

Nah. The only thing the umpires clashed with tonight was the scorebug.

The amount of different colour in an umpires kit annoys me and just allows for more chance of a clash. Why can’t they all be in one colour? Umpires in blue and grey vs port in teal white and black wasn’t a great contrast to me.

The hoops used to be higher, starting just below the cuffs; as such, the number(s) would touch the red hoop.


The current design is the basically the same but with the number and hoops moved down about 10cm for the upper sponsor.

Crows yellow strip looks great. Navy shorts would also be OK for this match up.

Umpires need more coloured strips to avoid clashes. All white would have been fine today. Or pink.
