Great win. Still a worry at the back at times and Vandermeer can’t be small forward, half forward or wing role he played last year or out, our talls were super, Lewis Young please stay in. Go Dogs

Was a little worried when the Lions got two goals down with a couple of minutes to go so well done on tightening it up and Libba for sealing it.

English was a clear BOG, Macrae and Treloar both very influential. Young had a very good first game back and his marking up on the wing was important in the final quarter.

Usual suspects of Scott and McNeil were down, McNeil is popping up late in the game when everyone else is tiring out but needs to make better decisions. Finally Caleb Daniel was our worst, Lester seriously put the clamps on him. Vandermeer not far off either, was mostly unsighted. All four could do with being dropped
 
What this could have been with a small forward who knows where to be when the high balls come in. McNeill, Scott and even Vandermeer is not that man.

Sam Power’s job is to find us a ruck when Martin is done. English looks like a legitimate forward.

78 tackles to 50 - that's a fantastic effort.

A lot of unrewarded running today, they took a heap of uncontested marks today because our guys ran to position really quickly and they had to chip it around
 
Good: Comfortable win. Lewis Young. Tall forwards.

Bad: The inclusion of Stef Martin has shown just how much potential we wasted the last few years by not bringing in someone to support English.

I’m sure you will manage to cope with it. It’s disappointing we aren’t a massive club like Collingwood who don’t have to sell two games a year. But if it nets the club $400k a year and helps keep us debt free than I’m happy to cop that. And if we continue to win down there. so should you.

We will be fine. Pretty hot up here in qld and we have the suns without Witts and Rowell.

Fresh legs. Cav in for McNeil, West in for Scott.

English, Macrae, Treloar, Dunkley, Young, Keath, Naught all really good.
