Very pleasing to hand the 'aints a good old fashioned belting tonight after the last couple of losses to them, we don't have many wins this size and we picked the perfect time to do it. Totally dominated the centre square and clearances in the 2nd half, we moved the ball much better running in waves and our closing down of space and ferocity at the contest was back to elite level.

Graham was huge tonight, really happy to see him have a great game after a couple of down weeks, Shedda and Bolton were both massively damaging, so quick and classy with their run and ball use with a decisive 15 clearances between them. Dusty got leather poisoning, left his kicking boots at home but his ability to get clean handball in the contest was important. Cotch and Lambo put in very solid, hard working performances, all the small forwards were good with Chaos probably the pick of the bunch, our hard work elsewhere gave them plenty of opportunities and they worked just as hard to capitalise on it.

Birthday boy **** had another ripper game, probably the pick of a very good defensive unit, Baker probably had his best game of the year and young Mansell had a very solid game. Pickett had some very nice moments, surprised everyone with his productive run in the ruck (hat tip to Dimma) and that goal at an important stage of the match was pure instinctive class. Nank took excellent advantage of their ruck woes with some great HTA's and fair dinkum steamrolled everyone he could lay hands on.

Couldn't be happier than to see Jack play a blinder in Maddie's Match, he was great tonight, very heartwarming to watch.

Fantastic win tonight boys, Melbourne at the 'G next week will be a big one and another great opportunity to teach a contender pretender a good lesson about how far behind they are when we're somewhere near our best. :thumbsu::richmond:

Commentators didn't mention Jack Riewoldt 3 flags compared to Plugger 0 flags

Bloody morons, Selwood the latest half brain 'champion' to walk into a commentary role with zero talent for it.

I was waiting for one of them to bring up how many less greyhounds Jack's trained.

Dusty 34 disposals 12 CP 560m gained
JG That is 12 tackles 3 goals
Nank 22 disposals 14 CP 6 tackles
Edwards 29 disposals 12 CP 520m gained
Shai 29 disposals 10 CP

Good night by many, many players
