NBL 2020/21 Season

So the Wildcats clash tomorrow with Saints v Eagles and then next week the Wildcats home game on Friday night clashes with the Eagles v Pies blockbuster also in Perth.

Few other instances I've noticed with other teams too. Surely it must have a pretty big impact on NBL crowd and viewer numbers having clashes like this.

How hard is it to glance at the AFL fixtures and move an NBL game over by a day or even an hour or two in some cases to avoid NBL teams clashing with their states AFL teams.

The NBL seem to be going out of their way to cause clashes.

The 36ers v Wildcats game yesterday was rescheduled to essentially clash with the Adelaide United v Western Sydney A-League clash (both the Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium are run by the same operator).

To carry on the epidemic of crappy scoring, Perth on 9 points one minute into the second quarter.

I’m not sure what this is, but it’s not professional basketball.

Then after quarter time NZ decided to join us in the shooting funk.
I'm admiring the grit in these Cats to get back into it and get our noses in front, but damn it is UGLY.
Cotton's perimeter slump is now 17 3PA without a make

[ETA] smh... What a way to break the duck.

The worst thing that can happen to Adelaide is when McVeigh has a good first quarter or half. Because then the turnovers and ridiculous mid-range floaters come out in the second half. He’s almost single-handedly losing this for them.

What an embarrassment. There might be two professional teams in this comp, the rest are atrocious at holding on to leads and having any sort of composure down the stretch.

When a team shoots that well all you can do is say well played.
NZ too good for us today. Cats fought hard as always but scoring was a struggle at times. Iverson has Mooney's number, and Abercrombie did a great job on Cotton.
5 days until our next game, which is also at home, and it feels like a break we desperately need to freshen up.

Was at the game. Even when we got to 13 up, NZ were still playing better basketball than us. Iverson was huge, literally. We really struggled to find our rhythm, NZ did a great job of disrupting it, thoroughly deserved the win.

FFS, our free throw shooting was horrible though!
