Liked: Freo's first win at Adelaide Oval since 2015.

Learnt: Carlton nowhere near it.

Hated: Overthinking how tall WC were and tipping Collingwood.

Liked: The ladder being a complete unpredicted shambles and North's effort this week.

Learnt: Saints have won 5 quarters for the year and somehow won 2 games, North has won 6 quarters for no result.

Hated: Umpiring and throwing, with some extra hate for the umpiring around throwing.

Liked: Winning and being 3-2 without playing anywhere near their best
Learnt: Nobody is beating Richmond, we're all playing to see who they beat on GF day.
Hated: Playing in away strip for a home game?
We've already been beaten twice, once at the g by a non Victorian team. That's what they said in 2018 too. It's a bit early

Liked: Melbourne, solid solid. Bulldogs impressive again.
Learnt: There is no such thing as home ground advantage, a wide open season and there are probably 6 or 7 teams that can contend for the flag.
Hated: St Kilda, yep destroyed again. They have a long way to go before they can be considered to be a contender.

Liked: Melbourne - Pickett making things happen, Rivers flying under the radar, Langdon off a wing, Brayshaw carving out a role on the halfback line.
Learnt: Port is a resilient side and they are also great to watch.
Hated: Carlton and St Kilda both seemed set to push up / further into the eight. Both still could, I guess, but it feels like it will end up a year of treading water.

Liked- The way Treloars game suits the Dogs style of play
Learnt- St Kilda are still way off it.
Hated- nothing this round

Learnt: Teams that have topped up without going to the draft aren't going anywhere
Bulldogs are sitting on top? Or you don't call Treloar, Martin, Durye, Crozier, Keath and Bruce "topping up"?

Liked - Winning
Liked: Bulldogs won the ruck for first time in a long time (against nobody)
Learnt: Teams that have topped up without going to the draft aren't going anywhere
Hated: What's to hate when you're on top of the table!

We won the ruck last week 🤔

Which part of "without going to the draft" did you fail to notice in my post?

English, Naughton, Smith, etc.

Our core was definitely built through the draft and we still take our first in every year, the highest we gave up for any of those players listed was Keath which was a late 2nd rounder with an upgrade of 3rds coming back. So nah I wouldn’t call it topping up in the way that StKilda for example has done, just some smart trading to fill some gaps with the added bonus of a Collingwood shitshow to gift us Treloar

Liked - Richmond winning, Carlton Essendon Collingwood all losing!
Learned - Geelong are pretty rubbish, hey?
Hated - Toby Greene kicking 1.7, you hate to see it.

Liked - Winning, watching other teams lose.

Learned - Hawks are bottom 2 material.

Hated - English dropping marks. Not playing a single vic club at home yet.

Liked - Supporters of some teams getting way ahead of themselves in mid April
Learnt - Supporters never learning from past mistakes
Hated - Saints changing to negative defensive gameplan half way through a match

Liked - 100% capacity has been back in WA for weeks but finally a sold out Perth Stadium

Learned - some fragile types with strange ideas hang around this forum

Hated - not much maybe umpires still terrible but resigned to that now

Liked: Current Melbourne based Clubs occupy 5 of the bottom 6 positions on the ladder. The Footscray, Port and Richmon wins

Learnt: Cats may be pretenders. Blues fans may be world's greatest optimists in the face of continuing disappointment. One of the Dons or the Pies will be 1 and 5 after ANZAC Day.

Hated: Injuries to heaps of players. The legalisation of throwing the ball. Muraliduran would love it.

Liked - Dockers having an away win at a previously challenging venue ( in context of course - everywhere for us Is challenging and Adelaide had some big outs 😊 ) but a win is a win

Learned - Adelaides new group look exciting. Great bounce back from last year and some good youth to work with

Hated - Eagles fans booing the prime minister ( embarrassing as a West Australian and hate their desire to Booo everything , they need a brain filter )
