Struck outside the line while playing a shot.

I'm not even convinced that the ball would have hit a 2nd set of wickets, let alone the off stump.

It wasn't just outside the line. It was so outside the line it was impossible for there to be any ambiguity. All three stumps were visible on impact!

He was getting enough turn on the pitch to hit from there.


The bat is clearly well behind the pad when hit (and still coming down), maybe the umpire thought it was a 'fake' shot when he realised he was in trouble?

I think that's what the umpire thought, but he was clearly playing a defensive shot on the wrong line for the spin. That's allowed and isn't LBW

I don't think so and part of that unfortunately sits square on Dizzy. We had to show we were heading in the right direction. If I was advising someone I would only recommend a move to the Redbacks if they couldn't make the other states second X1.

Now just have to fit our highest paid player in that we wouldn't have budgeted for

Mind you... the rest of the squad is worth about $1.50 so shouldn't be too hard I guess

Only 3 specialist batsmen.... not enough to pick a team!

Selector picking only 17 of 20 spots obviously want to fill the remaining positions based on form at the time.
