The irony of all these team's supporters going on about how humble they would be is that they are actually extraordinarily arrogant despite (or as compensation for?) their lack of success.

I mean, I don't see any of them saying how good Richmond are, or talking up any of our players, or giving positive comparisons to other dynasty teams.

Instead, it's "worst premiers ever," "a team of spuds who got lucky," "not a dynasty yet," and "something something Dusty something chopsticks."

Even the comments where they're boasting about how humble they would be is itself just part-and-parcel of their arrogant "ninfmund are a spud club" narrative.
