Another bag of 5 last night for Jamarra Ugle-Hagan. And should have kicked more. While getting double and triple teamed. Not bad for a kid coming off no footy for 18 months. Just oozes talent. And he knows it too.

Pretty scare to think what the 19 year old Ugle-Hagan and the 21 year old Naughton will become in a couple of years time. The dogs are in a pretty exciting position. Particularly with that studded midfield.
What do you mean another bag of 5?
He was pretty quiet in the VFL round 1 against GC. Was being marked mostly by Aiden Fyfe another 1st year player.

Agree the Naughton / Ugle-Hagan combo will be electric in years to come with your midfield serving them.

Allen would average 6 goals a game with that WB midfield.
Have seen a few people saying this but being a forward for the dogs really isn't that easy.
We play a high press and overposses the ball in the midfield so our forward 50 entries are usually into a very crowded forward line.
Teams like the Eagles are happier trying to force turnovers in their defensive half then moving the ball forward quickly into a more open forward line.
We get a lot of low quality entries. Eagles get fewer but better quality entries.
Our forwards also lack a bit of synergy. They haven't really played together much and in Naughtons case haven't played forward much.
Eagles forwards are really impressive in the way they block and make space for each other.
Hopefully that improves for the Bulldogs but as others have mentioned Naughtons forward craft still needs work.

He kicked 5 in a VFL practice match against Collingwood.

I happened to watch the stream of your VFL game and JUH wasn't mostly marked by a single player against GC, he was double and triple team all game, hence why Schache got off the leash so easily.

Except Naughton is part of the reason there is so much delivery. McKay is nowhere near as active up the ground as Naughton.

Carlton has plenty of delivery. It’s just generally s**t. Would love to see Harry in a side where he gets it lace out in predictable spots.

I also watched,
Not sure we were putting 2-3 players on JUH and no one on Schache.
Seemed to lurk pretty deep inside 50 most of the time where you don't normally get many 1 on 1's

McKay obviously the best but Id bet on Max King making AA in the future.

Allen a safe bet also but not sure about his ceiling.

Please remove Hawks from the list. We found one. Pick 50 too.
