Radio: 1629 SEN SA & SEN App

After Powell-Pepper was BOG last week I'm expecting him to get called up, for the injured Boak. Bonner should be back after his hammy injury. Ollie Lord was a late out last week due to a calf injury and will probs miss again. Sounds like Burgoyne did a hammy so he's out. Hopefully Rockliff isn't taken off halfway through the game again.

This game is a day after the AFL game so the sub will be able to play if unused (EG: Mayes).

Peter Ladhams is set to play his 50th SANFL Game, Samblich could make his PAFC SANFL Debut.

Maggies Side:
IN: Bonner, Samblich, Aldridge, Wong
OUT: Powell-Pepper (AFL), Burgoyne (Hamstring), Appleton (Hamstring), Surman

F: Ladhams - Edwards - Wong
HF: Farrell - Weidemann - Schofield
C: Bonner - Rockliff - Wildman
HB: Bode - Lienert - Strange
B: Corcoran - McKenzie - Garner
R: Hayes - Sutcliffe (C) - Williams
INT: Westbrook - Moore - Samblich - Aldridge
EMERG: Surman

Appleton out with a hammy. So looks like Samblich will make his club debut... but we've also named Simon Wong, nothing against the lad, im sure he's a lovely guy, but we're getting to the bottom of the barrel of our contracted lads if we have to name him, would much rather Carter or Monty get a go.

Interesting to see Bode named for another game - how did he play for those that were able to watch the last game?

His stats didn't look that great, although I know the role the club wanted him to take was as more of an "on field coach" for the younger players. How was his performance compared to the other contracted guys?

so ladhams, spp, Rockliff and Farrell missing from the named sanfl side. So they would either be called up or emergencies. Would think most of them come back down

Lol imagine if Ladhams came into the AFL side. God knows why he is even in contention.

What great May day for footy.

Looking forward to seeing how we go with up to 15 top up players. I don't expect us to beat the reigning premiers - who yes were raided after their flag - but will be interesting how much we can push them.

Hopefully The Preacher can get his hands on the ball a few times and kick a few goals. A potential spot of the list in supplemental draft should be enough incentive for a few guys.

Bummer. Oh well tomorrow is a decent day as well. Might be able to catch the 2nd half then as I will be free to go.

Big game today after last nights pathetic effort, in years gone by they'd be not putting their hands up for selection.

Lets see if thats changed any anyone puts in an effort that says they want to play AFL next week, just so they can be overlooked an Kenny can make his 1 token change (Bringing Boak back in) and send a message to the group saying don't bother trying because it wont do you any good.

If he does make more than one change, you can bet it'll be from younger players. God forbid Hartlett goes. Hopefully even Ken realises the Mayes sub experiment is a failure, so there should be incentive to at least get that spot.
