I think this is a pretty harsh way to look at it. We've been conditioned to always assume the worst based on years of the club's rank incompetence. Can you really blame people for being touchy about player retention? We use to bleed players even when the club was winning games of footy. I'd argue the only supporter base that have suffered more than us are Carlton and St Kilda, though there issues aren't really about player retention.Confirmation that over 70% of this board have nfi lol....

My bad. I couldn't tell as I'm seeing a few people make this argument for real. The "nothing to see here" crowd are enjoying one of the few times they've ever been right about something. Was a joke...
Yeah, really good observation.Listening through that I think we all forget what impact COVID (and a rubbish year from your team) can have on a young lad moving away from home. Last year was such a different year for all first year players - not surprising that the list of unsigned players features a number of kids playing interstate

Well if he replies, ask him when he is going to pay up on his bet with me. I suppose its been a fringe benefit that he has vanished after his take on thilthorpeI wonder how many alerts FAITH gets per day from being tagged in...

Yeah, really good observation.
Honestly, it was just nice to hear him speak. He holds himself really well, and was extremely patient with the 438 different ways he was asked about whether he missed Melbourne / his family. Alot moreso than I would have been
Likely exactly why the club has paired then up that way in the hope Neddy can help bring Fischer out of himself, doesn't hurt either that Neddy is one player that has "bought in" 100% from the get go.Seem an unlikely pair, Ned is in your face, loud and busy and fish seems quite shy reflective
Kirsty? Is that you?
Don’t think it would be a club decision, more like they come to terms themselvesLikely exactly why the club has paired then up that way in the hope Neddy can help bring Fischer out of himself, doesn't hurt either that Neddy is one player that has "bought in" 100% from the get go.
Can't agree on that, this looks very much like something with Daniel Jackson's fingerprints on it.Don’t think it would be a club decision, more like they come to terms themselves
Was always on the cards when Ned finished some Reno’s on his house in GoodwoodCan't agree on that, this looks very much like something with Daniel Jackson's fingerprints on it.
You can add ROB to that list too.Well the conventional wisdom in a rebuild is to get your Key Positions sorted first and build out from there. With Butts, McAsey, TT, Berg and Fog we’ve seemingly got a good start in that area.
It's an excellent saying.Except nearly every type of analytics is using past performance to predict future outcomes.
Really dumb saying.
