Ever done a high string ? You can walk around with it. The fact they did not ice it straight away speaks volumes of the worry as not much you can do till scans. Obviously without scans its all an estimate but the feeling is that it isnt good. lets hope we get lucky and its a slight twinge.
My main concern if its a big string, with his history, will he want to go again next year ?
Will admit I joined in when he missed. Was nice doing it as a laugh when he missed last night
Even Jack doesn't want him in the teamRemember when Jack tried to take Aarts out by firing Alex Keath into him?
Ice is becoming a hot topic in rehab. There's a view, one that's even shared by the original inventor of the R.I.C.E. protocol, that it actually inhibits healing.8 weeks for a hamstring strain that he didn’t need to ice and was walking around on? How?
Pretty sure they haven’t iced Cotch’s hammy the last few times he’s done it anyway.Ice is becoming a hot topic in rehab. There's a view, one that's even shared by the original inventor of the R.I.C.E. protocol, that it actually inhibits healing.
So I'd take nothing out of the fact Cotch wasn't iced up.

Yep, there's been a school of thought for a long time that moving the affected area (within reason of course) and getting the most blood flow possible through the injury (essentially using the body's own natural healing methods) leads to a much faster recovery than the RICE protocol, good to see it's gradually starting to be employed at a professional level.
Was aarts directly opposed to Daniel?
The results speak for themselves and are the primary reason the old way of thinking is going out of favour - a lot of physio's were very attached to RICE (nobody wants to know that everything they studied is BS) and very resistant to change, which is why it's hung around so long.
Much like ridiculous levels of carb loading, common sense is beginning to win out, but it's taken far too long, IMO.
Lee was always an automatic selection for Victoria in those days in an era of many great rucks.yeah Mark Lee was a dominating force of nature @ 21 & a premiership medal dangling round his neck with close to BOG honors
in that '80 flag, got taken out of the game by an inferior talent in WoW Jones in the '82 GF when we were red hot faves
and it affected his game for a few years after that,he came good again and was a fantastic warrior for the club thats for sure

This bloke needs to be playing KPD. Their tall defenders are pretty crap and this kid can obviously play the game, has nice skills...he just needs to move into defence. The answer to one of their big problems is right under their nose. Also means JUH can move in and displace that spud Bruce.
Don't need to if you don't wear yellow and black. When Rioli nails Lipinski at start of the third what effort does the guy make to get rid of it? Absolutely none
Yeah even at local level we have moved away from ice for soft tissue injuryYep, there's been a school of thought for a long time that moving the affected area (within reason of course) and getting the most blood flow possible through the injury (essentially using the body's own natural healing methods) leads to a much faster recovery than the RICE protocol, good to see it's gradually starting to be employed at a professional level.

Watching the replay. How ******* good is that noise in the 3rd qtr. Wowee missed that
We had them cooked 3-4 times HTB inside attacking 50 but got nothing. When Rioli nails Lipinski at start of the third what effort does the guy make to get rid of it? Absolutely none
We delisted a couple years ago, then North picked him up in the rookie draft end of last year.Menadue the sub for the roos when was he traded?
