Lack of depth and quality youth starting to sink in.

May make the finals, but will do no damage in it.
Injuries starting to kick in.

Overdue for a list regeneration (not a total rebuild, but need to try hit the draft hard in the next couple of years)

Don’t think any other team in the comp would be in a better position with the same injury run.

Freos injury list has at least been equal. Hell, we've had our first choice key defenders out since round 1. We are one win behind you with a game in hand.

The time for excuses is over.

“Has at least been equal”. Eagles have had more AA quality players injured for the majority of the season than Fremantle have total.
Eagles have 15 AA quality players right now? List them all. Based on the last 12 months btw not from 2018 or 19.

A lot of teams would lose without McGovern, Shuey, Duggan, losing Kelly and Allen in game and having Yeo underdone.

The thing that really costs the Eagles though is they are very good with plan A but plan B becomes hard when you:

- Play Yeo underdone
- Play Ryan who's probably a bit underdone
- Play Kennedy who's overcooked
- Play Nic Nat at most 70% TOG
- Play Bailey Williams because you're playing Nic Nat 70% TOG
- Play Brander who's very stiff and mostly useful in an uncontested game.

Pretty much the Eagles are heavily set up for plan A, and it's great when it works. But they lack midfield rotations, forward pressure, grunt and run to drive a messy game.

Every team relies on plan A to win the bulk of their games, but if it's just not holding up are the Eagles happy to cruise through this season then hope they get everyone right at the end of the year? Or do they get proactive in trying to play a more rounded game style with more rounded players?

Cool. High five to you. Comparing yourself to Freo is a loss. We are building this year but our premiership window is no where near your trading the farm for Kelly level.

Duggan? How many wins is Liam Duggan worth??
