To be honest we probably win the game if it goes through, we were a bit flat and it would have given us an enormous lift.

Between him n the we’ve drafted two players who are genuinely hard to describe (in a good way) in one draft. Agree though, the repeat efforts and sheer willpower are the best bit, finishing will come but he’s just great grunt right now.

Nothing about this kid says Essendon. The flair, the confidence, the individuality, the wrecklessness.

He looks like someone you'd expect West Coast or Collingwood to draft.

And I mean all of that in a good way.

This seems truer by the week.

Not to mention Cox. Two very un Essendon players.

Seems to me like he's getting enough chances but hasn't quite got his goal radar on target yet. For a guy who was playing forward I'd guess it's just a matter of time until he starts making those.
