I am sure that there are varying degrees of accepted and practiced fasting depending on beliefs, but it's definitely common to dry-fast.
He can only have water to hydrate if he askes for special permission, which he does and gets

Thanks, I wasn't aware of those things. :thumbsu:

Found this article which was also interesting, as you said Jacko, there's quite a bit of variation in interpretations between the four Islamic schools of thought.

Notice how Slobbo was going to mention the hack shoving grimes head in the turf, then switched tact and didnt. Wonder if he would have had the same approach if it was Lynch shoving that hacks head in the turf
Think we all know the answer to that mate.
I hope we win every flag while he and a few others are still breathing.

Surely they move the finals bye to after the prelim to allow players the opportunity to get themselves right for the GF with this concussion rule.
Like the idea.
But sadly this added with all these rule changes the great game of ours is turning into as someone put it Gaelic football with an oval ball.
All done for a purpose years ago when it was decided the brutal game of ours would see Mums turn their kids to soccer.
Step by step their ruining our game.

Are we just giving our senior players weeks off with dubious soft tissue and concussion injuries?

Last year they say.. Cotch.. please go around again.. you can play 15 weeks. Get fit. Have a break in winter then get sorted for finals. Dion same.

Titch will get time off in about 2 weeks with something or another..
Word is we havn't had an injury for 5yrs.

"“If a person ruins their fast [due to sexual behaviour], they must do Kaffara, which means they either have to feed 60 people or fast continuously for 60 days,” said Mufti."

Lol.

Could have been the crowd reaction to Graham's goal? ;)

But seriously, hope Grimes is OK and back in a week, we'll miss him, he was fantastic last week.

Great timing to have Vlas back. :thumbsu:
Apparently Vlas has to tick a few more boxes.Knee hurts when kicking over 30mtrs.

watching the replay and how funny is it to hear the commentators crapping on just before half time.
