Nah not a big club apparently
First time in the 50's for us, how many other clubs have reached over 50k?

We aren't a big club.
Richmond
Essendon
Collingwood
Carlton
WCE
Adelaide
Geelong
Hawks

Then there is
Saints
Freo
Sydney
Brisbane
Port

Then the others.

Middle ranking club.

We used to be right down the bottom so pretty good I reckon.

Average increase of 3k annual growth every year for last five years in a poor side.

Imagine in a good one.

One season we make finals and we increase by over 7,000.

become a consistent finals side (top 4) and hopefully snag a flag we will move into that top bracket

Its a great foundation to build on, especially considering where we have come from

Yes I agree with that. We just need that breakthrough flag and we would be off.

Huge win as fans can reclaim their seats at MCG and Marvel Stadium from round nine

Footy fans will be able to return to their reserved seats from Round 9 in a massive boost to the league’s COVID-affected season.
News Corp can reveal the AFL’s breakthrough with ticketing agencies means fans who purchased those reserved seats in the pre-season can finally return to sitting with family and friends.

Many large groups of mates and families who have sat in the same MCG or Marvel Stadium seats for many years were dismayed to be allocated seats this year given social distancing provisions.

But from Round 9, fans only need to download a digital membership card to use on their smart phone, then can simply attend games without having to register for seats.

Fans without smartphones can work with their clubs on alternative arrangements.

But amid a drop in attendance caused by capacity restrictions, fans will be thrilled given they have complained all year about paying for seats they cannot sit in.

The league has this week exceeded one million members after eight rounds, with Richmond and West Coast on track to again break the 100,000 member mark.

The change will take place for the MCG and Marvel Stadium in Round 9 and at GMHBA Stadium in Round 10, with tickets on sale for Rounds 9-10 from May 11.

The general public and members without specific reserved seats will still need to register for tickets through ticket agencies.

If we look at last years tally in April, and then the final tally for 2020, we added almost 5,000 more memberships. I think we could potentially push very close to 60,000 if we get some strong results over the next few weeks.

It's a membership day on SEN and you can buy the rest of our home games for a 3 game membership. Probably $75 or something and a cheap way to get mates along to a game with you. Should bulk up a heap of numbers too.

7yeah, 7 home games for the price of 3.

what more could you want. for the saints, more members better advertising, more bums on seats, likely to grow next year from a 3 game membership then to all home games. etc etc. hthis will only occur if we do opretty well in the next few weeks.

This was stolen from a general thread with all the updates amended as per the thread over the past two days.

The below data places us at 10th if Freo don’t have more members than us, or 11th if they do.

That puts us in the mid range of clubs as intended by Andrew Bassat and the club executive. Not a bad effort. Sustained and continual growth could see is reach even higher numbers on the next few years.
