Noticed him comfortably use his left foot a few times and kicked the goal on his right so has skills on both sides which is great.
Yes, the skills of Sonsie and Brockman really stand out compared to most of the scrubbers out there. Brockman shouldn’t be at this level any longer.

Saunders looking closer to the mark than Downie as an outside runner today. Has some spark. Downie and Finn just can’t get the ball.

Good fightback.

Territorial advantage in the 2nd half of that quarter showed that, that's more influential than pinpoint skills... at least at this level.

Saunders looks like the perfect example of a 'player' reason as to why there needs to be a Development League. Effort and skills (kind of) are there, but just needs to go down a level to get used to the speed and begin his development there for a couple of months.

It was Nash's ball, not Brockmans, he wasn't going to reach it.
Yeah, and added to that, why would he get out of the way of a bloke that had had 1 kick and 1 mark to half time. The delusional hatred and love for various players by people on this board is bewildering.

I'd say the opposite, he looks far more comfortable at this level then Downie and Pepper.
