this was a great display of the power of common sense as it applies to clash jumpers. in the past we've had all sorts of weird arrangements for this matchup, including north's argentina strip, collingwood's suspenders jumper, making north wear the away strip for home games, etc. this was perfect. one team in mostly white, the other in mostly dark. no risk of confusion.

Didn't think there was a problem watching the game on Saturday, but this photos' does actually makes me think the clash was worse than what it was.

This match-up is a good example of uniforms that just scrape the line of sufficient contrast while still having room for improvement. Sharing vertical stripes and a similar colour scheme (North's blue is relatively dark under the Dome) means it's not perfect, especially when viewed front-on, but it's certainly sufficient for general viewing.

The above photo is especially misleading as you only have the one point-of-view. If you take into account the back of the jumper., the number panel creates large solid blocks of blue (North) and white (Collingwood) and the clash is much less pronounced than in this still picture.

Collingwood's are at least pinstripes. North's are too big to qualify for that, whoever designed the jumper has no sense for how pinstripes are supposed to look

Collingwood's make their jumper look fuzzy, blurry. North's (whatever they are) look plain messy.
