Hammers GD is pretty s**t so thats costing them another point against the rest.

Need United to beat Liverpool, their remaining fixtures are all very winnable.

I think them in 4th and Chelsea in 3rd is how it'll end up.

Need Everton to do us a favour. If we can get West Ham in the rear view it will be all about Leicester and can they s**t the bed with their last three fixtures.

We absolutely have to win out though.

Arsenal finished 8th last season, at best they are probably looking at 9th this season, maybe 10th.

Wenger out though has definitely helped. I wonder if the fan base is still super happy with themselves that they hounded the club legend out the door.

Under Arsene FC, yes. He did. The club (under Gazidis) at the time took conscious steps to reduce Wenger’s influence over the running of the club by installing other people in charge of recruitment/technical support etc (such as Mislintat from Dortmund). Obviously this got Wenger’s nose out of joint.

These guys all came and went pretty quickly after Gazidis left to Milan, fast forward to now and the club has gone full circle in now bestowing that power onto Arteta. Instead of focusing on the coaching of the team, Arteta was supposedly the one to try and negotiate pay reductions in the playing squad during the pandemic. It’s just bizarre and incoherent the way Arsenal has managed this in such a short space of time.

A lot will depend on United vs Liverpool. A United win all but kills Liverpool. A draw still makes it tough for Liverpool. West Ham need to win their last 3 and hope Leicester or Chelsea fail to get to 67.

Ah yeah fair enough. I dont think we win out either. I think we draw against United but win the other three which would leave us just short.
