Gill could afford to lease the venue and fill it with peeps who have the financial means, so if it was their whim, employ others to fight for them at another venue.Yeah that rings true I reckon. Gil looks like the type of bloke who'd walk away while his partner is being sexually assaulted. That's what some people are advocating, walking away. Just leave the missus there while you try and find a security guard? There's a lot of lily livered bullshit floating around from some abject cowards.
They tried to gain re-entry.
Should have called Stacky and CCJ, asked for advice on nearby kebabs.
On the news tonight, Bolts apparently said outside he was going to put the bloke six feet under.
Need to bring in Johnny Ibrahim to local shores to sort out the offender.
OK, you are his adviser then for a moment - you advise him to say what publicly.........?
Players need to walk away lol.How about we deal with real facts 2 blokes stepping up for there partner not one mention of the harassment of Rioli's partner.Common theme with AFL and other cases it's brushed aside by the afl in house and Gill.
I'm fed up with AFL to much dictatorship rules, umpiring you name it.
I dunno, something along the lines of what Dimma is being praised for saying instead of spinning s**t? In some situations you need to stand up for yourself and your loved ones. Saying he should've walked away is completely out of touch with reality.Gil obviously can't condone violence publicly, what other option did he have other say say walk away? Bit precious you lot.
Can hardly say yeah belt the bloke. Good way to lose a few mill in sponsors $I dunno, something along the lines of what Dimma is being praised for saying instead of spinning sh*t? Unfortunately common sense is secondary to the witch hunt.yeah, just sounds like usual night club drama. not unusual that they hung around arguing or talking to people afterwards. plus it means they weren't trying to make a run for it lol which is a good thing really

They got into a fight big deal
Its a big story as it is a big deal. We are on the brink of being the most successful team of all time. We are already in a situation where 5 of our top 10 players are already out -we just lost our best remaining player now for a month. The footy world are frothing at the mouth to see our dynasty era break & they can smell the blood in the water.
We have spent the past few years watching several of our players & coach make gossip controversy headlines - some are beat ups, but enough of them have enough facts to be a genuine story - Broad, Rance, Rances wife, Higgins, Higgins GF, Lynch, Cotchin, Cotchins wife, Vloss, Short, Chols pecker, Stack, CCJ, Dimma, Dimma's wife & now Bolton, Rioli and & Rioli's Girlfriend. Like it or not & perhaps not all entirely accurate - we are turning into an episode of "Playing for Keeps".
We have never needed our young bloods to step up more than we do this week. Ralphsmith, RCD, Naish - we really need these kids to shine and light a spark. Change the narrative, get us back on track. If we don't get that - we could possibly see us go 1-3 over the next month & find ourselves as low as 12 or 13th after round 14. We can't afford any more injuries.
If that is the case, we will definitely not be top 4 & be questionable to even be in the finals. There are a lot of teams "up and about this year" - Melbourne, Dogs, Cats, Power, Lions, Swans, Eagles - they alone make 7 teams I would bank on for the finals.. Our backs are firmly against the wall and we cannot rely on the old brigade to carry us through it as most of them are on the injury list. Last years effort was monumental - but compared to this years challenge, it will look like a dwarf. Many of great teams have met sudden ends like this - The great Lions 3-peat comes to mind...
Lets hope they can step it up - a successful year would certainly mark us as the greatest team of all time
.... on a side note, the idea we might pick up Stengle again in the mid season draft after he was caught redhanded with coke - its so crazy i am totally for it, I just waiting for us to sign Kenny Powers next
Other than Broad in 2017 and the hub breach all those examples you posted are absolute media beat ups and would have got minimal media attention had it not been for the club involved. Check what Dimma had to say about it. Didn't condone violence but didn't condone abandoning your loved ones to violence either. Can hardly say yeah belt the bloke. Good way to lose a few mill in sponsors $

No way if Gil was in a nightclub and his girlfriend got harassed he'd walk away.. he'd run away like Hussain Bolt.Of course Gil thinks this, what a goody two shoes

This. Well said
Her husband must be another one of those cuckhold men, can’t believe the toxic masculinity take on this sh*t.
Imagine getting your claim to fame by dating 20 men at the same time on prime time tv. Then having the hide to comment on how a man protects his woman
That only happens at BBQ'sHeard a rumour that it was at YoYo's night club and it was full of AFL players at the time. Could it be that another AFL player made inappropriate advances to Rioli's girlfriend and who was involved in the fight and that the players do not want to rat on another AFL player?
Did he say anything about the victim while judging our blokes?Gil obviously can't condone violence publicly, what other option did he have other say say walk away? Bit precious you lot.
Could've just said which sponsors would agree with.Gil couldn’t condone what the boys did even if he wanted to
He literally has millions of dollars worth of major sponsorship money to worry about and making a public stance that people would twist into him condoning violence is the type of thing that could put big money at risk
