Anyone else following this case? Getting very intriguing. The accused saying drug suppliers from Melbourne came down and murdered him. Sounds like he's telling the truth but who knows.

The story sounds somewhat believable until you read this bit from another article on the case:

"In his opening statement, Director of Public Prosecutions Daryl Coates SC said that in the days leading up to Mr Anderson-Brettner's death, the accused directed his girlfriend, Gemma Clark, to buy several items including bleach, firelighters, tape, disposable gloves and overalls, a saw and goggles."

True. Sounds like they told him what was going to happen. He's pretty stupid not mentioning that on the stand.

And this:

"Tasmania Police ballistics expert Simon Taylor also gave evidence saying two of the bullets found inside Mr Anderson-Brettner's torso had "copious amounts of matching" characteristics to what would have been fired out of the Smith and Wesson pistol discovered by police at the crime scene.

The prosecution has alleged the pistol belonged to Mr Sadler."
