not having a plan B or not forcing the issue is the problem.
In hindsight, the spin and the top up player dialog was nothing more than fluff to distract the issue that was coming full steam and head on.
Even if we had Gunston, Sicily and Day all up and running I would bet my left nut we would be in the same situation but with a better percentage.
Last season Covid papered over the cracks as an excuse. There is nowhere to hide this season and I’ll stick by the Breust re-signing as a flat put stuff up. It 100% didn’t need to be done in February.
