Mills looks one of the most likely this season as a midfielder. Loves a tackle and getting more time in the thick of it, while still increasing his marks per game.

I have Mills, Lyons and Taranto as the best chances right now.

Edit: Touk Miller has the game for it as well.
I'd agree with those choices. Macrae doesn't have the consistent numbers in the marks and the tackles, but he's shown throughout his career he's capable of big games in both, so he wouldn't surprise me at all.

More likely though, it'll be someone random like Enright.

Not sure Clearances or even Marks should be considered part of a double/triple/quadruple/quintuple double. If you count them you are really double dipping. I.e. every clearance/mark is followed by a kick/handball, so one act automatically gives you two stats. In basketball all of the five eligible stats (points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals) are distinct acts.

I would even question the inclusion of Kicks and Handballs. You could kick the ball OOTF 10 times and register 10 kicks - hardly a positive contribution.

I think we need to look at more meaningful stats:
- hard ball gets
- contested marks
- spoils
- intercept marks
- score involvements
etc

Probably in a smaller quantity than 10 though - maybe 5?

im going to be honest Team, I started this thread 14 years ago

Was a good run for a while, but I have lost hope. i dont think its ever going to happen again. if it does it has to be this season, I reckon they will go to 18 minute qtrs next season which will shave 8 min of stats...

ive just lost complete faith, forgive me lord for my sins
