Dogs land a beauty in Ugle-Hagan - but can they keep him?

I am still shocked that Beveridge was prepared to play Josh Schache ahead of him.

If Jamara did end up leaving, that would surely be a "doh" moment.
If you follow the team closely as all Bulldogs supporters do, we all felt like that was 100% the right call at the time. Schache decided to stink it up after being in dominant VFL form.

FYI no Bulldogs supporter is worried about JUH. He will play this year at some stage (and we'll probably quickly see why he hasn't played up until that point). He's not ready yet.

I know this seems odd, but considering they have Naughton, and JUH has shown he can be unprofessional and Bevo wont put up with his sh*t,

Why did they match the bid?

This has got to be the worst question I've ever seen posted on this forum.

Realistically, you (and everyone else here) knows * all about Jamarra’s professionalism. If you’re gonna come in and troll, take it to the bay.

If you blokes won't play him when he's in form he won't.

Plenty of clubs circulating. Including the 2 clubs closest to the Dogs geographically.
He was named emergency at one point so he was close on making his debut then he copped a concussion and lockdown happened.

Good problem to have for the Dogs.

right now they are contenders and probably will be for the next few years.

With Naughon Bruce English and Jamara as tall forwards I think one would have to make way eventually but can bring in a player of need (ruckman?)

Bevo knows better then you if he is ready or not

The point is holding him back is only going to cause more grief than is otherwise necessary. There is nothing wrong with playing him. How is anyone going to know how he will go unless you play him. That's why other clubs are looking at doing deals to bring him across where he will get that opportunity. Give you an example...Richmond, North Melbourne, Essendon, Carlton, Collingwood etc would play him. Bevo is being a tad foolish in not giving him a go.

Most of us bulldogs supporters what him in the side and he will get his opportunity

No, he’s not. Not much worse than debuting a kid with massive hype around him, only for him to fail because he’s not ready. Bevo doing him a favour right now. This wouldn’t be as big of an issue as it is if he wasn’t concussed and the VFL was postponed, meaning the kid hasn’t played in a month. We debuted Buku Khamis and he only had about 55-60% game time due to a lack of match fitness. Same thing would probably have happened if we debuted Jamarra against Richmond (realistically the only time he had a shot of debuting), which is a liability in such an important game.

Behind the scenes I bet Jamarra understands why he is being help back. This frenzy is only caused from Fev saying on radio that the club should’ve taken him to Perth “for the experience”. Reason he wasn’t was quite clear - he wasnt going to play, and the club was hopeful the VFL would resume.

Stop being speculative on something you clearly know * all about.

Richmond have held back CCJ until recently so it's complete rubbish that they would play him regardless of form or fitness, and all those other sides are garbage so of course there would be more opportunity there right now.

What an idiotic argument.

Jeez surprised at the amount of people saying "he should be in" on here. If he ain't ready, he ain't ready, regardless of what pick he was taken at. Clearly he is not getting a gig cause of his professionalism and attitude. Ya don't want a Jack Watts scenario where ya throwing the lamb out to the wolves again.

If anyone has actually bothered to watch Jamarra LIVE IN THE FLESH this season and not on fox footy, you would have noticed that he fades off late in games and after 1-2 tough contests he’s gassed. Numerous times he had hands on knees. Talent will get him goals in the vfl yes but it’s a huge step up in the seniors. Some were calling him for the Richmond clash - he would have been cooked at half time.
Let the kid build his tank, which he is. He’ll get his chance this year.

Give ya the tip. He would have played if Kevin Sheedy was coaching at the Kennel.
