If you likeIs there going to be one of these if Curtis Taylor comes good?
For 7 years?People seem to forget that Kayne was playing as a small forward not because he is a small forward, but to try and fill a hole in our side for us.

For 7 years?
hes always done whatever the coach has asked of him. 3 coaches in a row love Kayne Turner - that says more to me than a bunch of BF posters
True, but the fact Mahony has not set the world on fire and has taken his spot indicates that criticsim of Turner in the role he played was valid.Yes. In fact we still don't really have a small forward, but I don't think it's a surprise that since Mahony has been in the side, Kayne has been freed up a bit more.

Yep he's doing his job at the moment.Or that Mahony more naturally plays a mid-fwd pressure role and Kayne has more versatility to push into the backline and midfield at this stage?
No one is saying that Kayne was a superstar as a small forward. But he was doing a job for the team, one that wasn't quite natural to him. It's not his, or Mahoney's fault that the list managers haven't put a decent small forward on the list.
If Kayne was another 5-6kgs heavier he would be Jed Anderson MK II.
Hmmmmmm..............they have also put Atley's name in the side every week.
A lot of folks are myopic when it comes to the defensive stuff.
They seem to think you need 2 x key defenders and 20 x Eddie Betts's to make a quality football side.
