We had this game on a stick with a minute to go and in the end probably lacked a little composure with Scott not kicking the ball wider where it could've been killed out of bounds.

Like I said in the other thread; they barely eked out a win on their own turf when we went in without two of our best mids, our first choice ruckman, an experienced stopper and lost our best key forward at half time.

I would not be stressing this. It's frustrating to have lost it with a kick on the siren but they got carried by some really ******* shocking decisions as well.

If we can keep the ball off intercepting markers against teams with two good ones (May & Lever, Henry & Stewart) we're really in our window.

They just dont seem to learn from their previous mistakes, they did it again tonight by finding that one opposition defender and kept kicking it to him. Scott's and Bont's misses were crucial in context

Really proud of the boys. We gave it our all. Still lots to work on. Those two sets shots just needed to be slotted early in the fourth. And we need to find a way not to pick out the intercept defender. Stewart killed us.

Absolutely sucks to lose like that.

The Scott and Bont misses really cost us, as did the “conclusive” goal review to change the umpires call who was a metre away.

Get treloar, Martin, Dunkley etc back for finals and get on a full sized football ground and we will beat them without question

Extremely disappointing.
But this shows me we are better than Geelong.
Very different feel to the Richmond/Melbourne games.

Effort was there, opportunity was there and we did not take.

Poor team selection was exacerbated by who ended up getting injured.

On the flip side that was the best they had at their own dung heap, and matched them with an unbalanced team.

Unfortunately makes next week more important
