Richmond have climbed the mountain and are now on the other side heading down. Not too many Tigers fans will be too disappointed. I’d be more concerned if I was a geelong supporter with their aging list an no silverware to show for their topping up recruiting
Had a look at the Richmond board meltdown for some cheap thrills and I wasn't disappointed. It is truly astonishing to read their comments about the horror year they are having with injuries and the frustration with player's form. Another wrote he is relived their dynasty is at an end because it was far too stressful anyway. Stressful? They won just about every final they played in by large margins. Two of their three flags were a walk in the park. They won all three grand finals. And that is stressful? GMAFB.
I never fail to be bemused by the incredible brittle temperaments of so many opposition supporters. WTF would they be like if they followed Collingwood? Richmond's run with injury this year (which their coach also whined about) comes after a four year period of footy where they hardly sustained an injury in the first two years and when they copped a few in the following two they were all back and firing long before the finals began. We have had the year they are experiencing now for ten bloody years on the trot. We have played in a number of finals series with a weakened, undermanned list, including the day we almost pinched a flag.
Too bloody stressful.
The only peace of mind it brings is the fact that no matter how many flags you win, as soon as the wheels fall off, the angst is as bitter and rage fueled as ever. The buffer of years of success seems to wear thin very quickly.

Has anyone noticed how low the scores have become in recent weeks?It seems as if the coaches have got around the man on the mark rule already and returned the game to the ultra defensive bore fest that it was last year.
Has the umpiring standard dropped this year
Maybe the words were inappropriate after the schoolgirl incident?
And just when we go and sack the guy who was the master of the slow defensive borefest………..
Have you just copied and pasted that from a notepad document that you have used in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, etc, etc?
