I know you mean no harm, but you really need to stop stinking up the place with constant outlandish calls then trying to justify them. Just be normal

He is 22, carried a middling side (2nd last in east last season )

to EFinals, in a strong east - beating the first seed... and scoring 50 pg against dpoty and nba first time level players. Sinking shots from half way often. Floater is automatic.

Hawks have said , they did (attempted) the curry/warriors rebuild model too, iirc...

Not as good off the ball but he's playing with a bunch of kids not Draymond green

You raise an excellent point I will now reassess my thoughts of Trae. Hawks. And their future
Tried being nice but if you're going to be a smartass:

Don't worry about reassessing Trae. Just reassess yourself and the incessant garbage content/responses you post here. Take the hint.

If Trae does have any sort of ankle injury we are probably written off. Bogdanovic is definitely playing injured and without Hunter we are in a bit of trouble. Huerter can't carry the wing load. Look at Bogi's output in the finals :(.

Young has been way better than expected but he is still averaging 43% FG, 33% 3P and 4 TO a game in the playoffs.

Steph put up 46-9-7 in his one play in game this year, +40% from 3 of course. ATL have wayyy better shooters to dish the ball to compared to GSW too.

LOL @ First Take about to do a 'who would you build around: Trae or Luka?' thing. It's still Luka.

In 2019-20, Trae Young became the 5th player in NBA history to average at least 29 PPG & 9 APG in a season

Trae has been matched vs the best defender, Simmons. Now Jrue and Giannis.

At the same age curry was shooting 4 threes a game Trae is going at 10pg. It's clear he is very special shooter better than his percentage.

2nd only to curry in very long 3s too.

Trae has as many assists as luka on less use too.

Wiggins, bazemore, toscano etc. Stats are similar to Atlanta 3p%

Trae is a special player. He's not a special shooter. Just because he can hit a long bomb or difficult shot every now and then, it doesn't mean he's a great shooter.

As noted above, he only shoots low 30s from 3.

And the "Trae can shoot from distance" is not true. He's shooting 30% from greater than 25 feet in the post season, and only 34% during the season. These aren't special.

Trae's talents can stand on their own merit. He doesn't need to be compared to Curry.

Phoenix have the chance to ascend to the NBA Finals today, holding a commanding 3-1 lead.

However as we've learnt, and seen as recently as this morning, a 3-1 lead is not insurmountable. Just ask France. hahaha sacre bleu!
