Even a draw wouldn’t break the symmetry!I did a bit of homework on this one & was surprised to find out when 2 teams play each other, 1 team wins & 1 team loses.
Mind blown!!
Hang on, give me a couple of hours so I can check the facts on that one.Even a draw wouldn’t break the symmetry!

How’s that a awesome result? are you a Carlton supporter?Hell yeah.. awesome result!
The whole "keeping the season alive" is a bit of melodrama. As if they couldn't have played the game at Optus. They just didn't want to. Sure there was some risk, but mostly it would be of Carltoon quarantining at the other end. Listening to the Vic media over this week they are getting a little precious on the whole "Victoria saving the game" narrative.David King perplexed by "petty" comments from Fremantle CEO
Comments from Fremantle CEO Simon Garlick caught David King’s ear.www.sen.com.au
This is complete garbage from King. I think if any club is going to be aware of the impact of travel it will be us. Having to travel when the other side doesn't is literally the opposite of a home game. If he thinks that driving to Geelong and flying to Tassie and staying in a hotel is comparable it's pretty clear he doesn't leave the house much.
If we have any aspirations for finals then it's good to get experience playing at the MCG. As you point out Optus was designed to be relatively close to the dimensions of the MCG, so at least from that aspect, it can feel a little more like home. Geelong is so different in its dimensions. How’s that a awesome result? are you a Carlton supporter?
The club would have 100% requested the GI suppose the MCG is a similar size to Optus so should suit our style of play and the club gets the revenue, if the club didn’t pick it and didn’t get to have a say where it was played then it’s a joke!
One positive is when we get the win we take the money too , go boys![]()
Primetime Saturday Night at the G is what we've been crying out for man. How’s that a awesome result? are you a Carlton supporter?

Our vic supporters had better turn out and bring the noise , the boys need them now more than ever! i just want to smash these campaingers , i'm so fired up over this game now.Primetime Saturday Night at the G is what we've been crying out for man.
The ground dimensions will suit us a lot better than GMHBA. We need as much exposure to the G as possible.
ALL clubs are in Melbourne, you're acting as if it's personal slap in the face to Freo. The AFL would have a very tough job scheduling everything. The fact we landed with that is yes, an awesome result.
