Got it, some players will definitely improve and others definitely will not. And I know for sure which players fall into which categories
If a player shows no signs of improvement after 4 years and 34 games, there's a reasonably good expectation that improvement will not be forthcoming.

Sooner or later King is going to fix his inaccuracy problem

Max King's goal kicking accuracy has gotten worse. So how you could make that call other than it being a pure guess?

Goal Assists
King: 0.7
Fogarty: 0.2

Score Involvements
King: 5.3
Fogarty: 3.5

While not exactly the same as "bringing the ball to ground after failed marking attempts", these stats clearly show that King has more impact on his team's chances of scoring than Fogarty.
So you’ve just dug up 2 stats that you admit do not prove your point? And are trying to use that to prove your point?

King will eventually fix his accuracy problems. It's doubtful if Fogarty will ever significantly increase the number of contests he gets to, and thus his number of scoring shots.
I look at it differently. So far this year Fog has spent 76% TOG. For a key position player that is low. And it tells me Fog is still not at a proper playing weight.

In my view he has 12-24 months to lose weight, up his cardio or he will be relegated to the scrap heap.

So back to your comment - and the key word “doubtful” - the jury is out for me but Fog seriously needs to build a tank and get to a proper playing weight.

Think the other issue for me is Fog just doesn't feel like a true KP and doesn't compete enough for the few contests he does manage to get to.

Still hoping he makes it as his kicking is unreal but really needs to build on that tank. His priority for 2022 has to be making it to a lot more contests than he currently does.

Best just to ignore anything STO writes about Fogarty. He's completely blinded by his fanboism, and writes complete and utter nonsense as a result.

Want to go back over the highlight reel of our exchanges? I'm happy to air you out again if you insist...

Pretty simple with FOG, still needs to get fitter and play high HF.

Playing deep and having the ball kicked on his head is never going to lead to success, he is a leading forward. Delivery to the forward 50 is still terrible and both FOG and Filthy struggled, the only player that did anything was Tex and he is a legend

"Adelaide fan posts supportingly about maligned young player"

What a loon

Some how defending one of the players makes you anti club.

Like, there's no route here that doesn't involve correct criticism of the club. Either they're mishandling him, or they made significant errors in drafting and in offering a new contract two ****ing weeks ago.

I find it ridiculous that Fogarty kept the ball in play two times with his attack on the ball and link up play which led to two finish goals in the last five minutes.
He found a way to get involved in play at the death.
He’s definitely a hybrid.
More time, more pre seasons, he will shine more.
GAGF Kane Cornes who would snap him up for his Paer in an instant.
