Brings to mind the social issues experienced by young girls who happened to have been given the lovely name "Isis" a few years back.

There are more than a few people here claiming to be humanists of one stripe or another, and yet are seemingly unable to emphathise with the simple image of a mother wondering what to say when little Karen, coming home from school one day after some taunting she doesn't understand, asks "Mummy, am I a bad person?"
