Geez, old clamps Maynard did a number on Reiwoldt.![]()
Pendles was playing with injury, and playing poorly to his standard, yet was defended at every turn.If he's injured he shouldn't be playing so while he's playing he deserves to cop the sh*t he's getting
This.I blame fatherhoodā¦heās lost his mojo.

We can't make finals unfortunately, probably time to start looking at the bottom 10 on the ladder, Richmond just had their membership to the bottom 10 for the 2021 season rubber stamped.
Tell ya what, as much as we would kill for flag success, opposition supporters are probably forever indebted to us.
2018 - put a gap in the inevitable run of Richmond flags
2019 - 2020 tigers bounce back strongly from the wrath of Cox, with a threepeat in their sights.
Yet the thoughts of what could of been linger over them. A equal record 4-peat went begging as did the chance at a new record of 5 in a row.
Tigers fans take some solace in a 3 peat being alive as the 2021 season approaches.
2021 - after 3 losses to start tiger season (the back half of the season where richmond have been phenomenal) they run into the struggling pies, who pulled the dagger lodged in bucks the Messiah and plunge it into Richmonds 2021 season.
So while we have been starved of the ultimate, we have been the one to end Richmonds chances of:
- multiple 3-peat chances
- a 4-peat
- a record 5-peat
Feels bloody great, we are like the opposite of Batman, the hero the afl community doesn't deserve but the one they needed.

Sidey is a hard worker with decent to good skills.
Pendles injured output is about 300 per cent higher than Sidey's

Nothing inaccurate at all - it's called life experience. You should run for parliament.
Great spin. Inaccurate. But great spin.
Noble and Mayne have been excellent defenders and neither would be easy to play against.Could you imagine being a half forward playing against Collingwood. Getting all excited, hopefully you'll play on Madgen or Noble.... maybe a Wilson or Mayne... then Maynard lines up on you...![]()
Doubt he'd play with one, the rest of the week is a different story.Sidebottom might be injured but thereās no way he was wearing a back brace as has been claimed. In the third quarter he gets his jumper pulled right up and all thatās under it is skin.
You couldnāt possibly play football in a back brace anyway.

Noble must offer a lot to the side outside of his one on one role that allows him remain in the 22 without anyone seriously threatening his spot.John Noble has had 8 spoils for the season, compared to Maynards 51...
Noble has lost 80% of his defensive contested one on ones, compared to Maynard's 26% despite Maynard regularly taking key forwards and the oppositions most dangerous forward.
What aspect of Noble's season has been excellent apart from his ability to lose his footing regularly?

He stood upI got goosebumps watching Adams kick that goal
Apparently he wasn't the only one to do so.He stood up
Having been able to watch the entire game I have to say that's the best footy we've played since 2018. One poster told me to skip the first three quarters. I'm glad I didn't. We played some fantastic footy without getting the score on the board and I was glad to see the commentators acknowledge this. After feeling despair about our great game after watching Essendon and Adelaide arm wrestle and play keepings off for two hours followed by another shocker between Geelong and Carlton I watch our boys take the game on and continually go through the corridor in a fearless manner even after mistakes were made. Clearly the coach has given them license to do just that.
It confirms the Buckley decision as the correct one. We were not insane to be demanding to know why all of the flair and creativity had been sucked from our player's souls. Did you see the players' faces after the game? You can't tell me they don't enjoy taking the game on and running the pill down the ground with electric passages of play. I remember how good it felt in my local suburban team when great passages of play came off-your adrenalin goes through the roof and your connection with your teammates grows stronger.
We have played grinding, dour, soulless footy for too long with an occasional exception. Our crowd were in a frenzy. The players feed off our excitement. More please-win, lose or draw. It was a joy to watch.
