Someone on the Hawks board broke it DAYS before the media had a clue.

Also her description of the meeting was like 3rd hand news. Maybe it was antagonistic. Maybe it was mediation. Maybe it was a chat.

But then "for sure he wont be there coaching next year". Reputation on the line eh Caro ?

The CEO and President are both talking down the angst and desire to shove Clarko. He has said he isnt going anywhere.

If Clarko does get pushed and Reeves and Kennett lied I imagine there will be an alterate ticket at an EAGM which will probably win.

The fun bit is what clauses are in Reeves' 5 year contract.

Which is all the media need to make a story.

I didnt ask that. Her story is definitely based on rumour. We have no idea how senior or connected her leak was.

And in the last 2 weeks she has warned Sam Mitchell and warned Tim Watson.

Her story is definitely based on rumour. We have no idea how senior or connected her leak was.

So the story is based on a leak. That's not the same as "based on a rumour".

You can object to her tone but that's not the same as discrediting the story, which she is entitled to defend as much as she wants.
