it’s game time! And I mean Olympic Games. Also we might play Hawkthorn today.

they’re the teams. Thilthorpe signed for a couple years yesterday, and the club missed a massive opportunity to troll everyone by not having D-Mac do the announcement. He’s not named though.

Can't see it, even if we want to win

of course we want to win. I can't see our midfield gifting goals like they did last week, plus there's no Natanui to service their blue collar workers. I thought we competed pretty well across the field last week. My only concern is forward structure, but they're equally tall in their's so we cancel each other out.

I for one don't want the wooden spoon and would hate for our club to have a record of 2 or 3 wooden spoons in a row ,
So I am hoping we can win today and Carlton beat North though be difficult without McKay for Carlton.
I am a lot happy about our forward structure this week and just hope we can deliver ball better going forward as Tex,Fog and Lynch have shown prepared to lead if given opportunity. Still no goal scoring small forward though. Hopefully learnt something from Ports which pains me to say , that is running past the man on the mark to gain metres and set up play.
Also after seeing Collingwood kids do so well maybe time to give another couple more of ours a few games to get confidence.

Cheap late season wins mean nothing, absolutely nothing, look at last year, we're in the same position now. A draftee like Horne means a lot, a real lot.

We are shooting ourselves in the foot if we don't try for the number 1 pick when a certain gun is there for the taking. I reckon I'll find myself barracking (wash my mouth out) for the Hawks because 12 years of a gun local player is worth losing this doesn't mean a thing game.

My sentiments. Couldn't put it better myself.
The usuals will say coming last does irreversible damage. I disagree.
The opportunity to pickup a local guaranteed gun for 12 plus years has to factor in.

Are we too tall down back?
This is the area worrying me.

Already started on the red wine, gonna spend the day watching Women's table tennis, indoor volleyball, and should be nice and drunk by the time the crows resume the tank-athon

just cracked my first Grolsch, will be punting, watching footy and putting together a couple shed shelves. Just topping up on last night, so should be drunk nice and early.
