2021 Player of the Year Leaderboard

Hey, by my records this is earliest in the season that I've ever created this thread! Go me!

To recap, Lachie Neale dominated the competition last season winning by a record margin, setting a new for best on grounds and total number of votes and a bunch of other record breaking achievements. Jarryd Lyons had an excellent season to improve on his sixth place in 2019 to come runner-up to Lachie. Superstar defender Harris Andrews squeezed into the top three despite missing three games. Jarrod Berry and Oscar McInerney round out the top five with improved efforts from 2019. Laser-boot defender Daniel Rich took out best finals player and man mountain Jack Payne was best rookie of the year.

Can Lachie Neale take out the threepeat, something that even the great Dayne Zorko was unable to do? Can fellow midfielder Jarryd Lyons somehow get past Lachie and take the gold? Is Harris Andrews ready to explode and be the first defender to win the Player of the Year award? And which of our new breed will take out rookie of the year?
