Out: Wilson- please. Guy is weak in the contest, can’t kick and is overwhelmed easily.
Tucker- heh. Riding on the coat tails. Genuinely awful player. He played 70 games? Blakely is better then him.
Crowden- delist. Honestly don’t even know what this guy does. Rich killed him, if that was his opponent. Jogs around covering space. 8 disposals with 1 tackle? Yikes
Western- just not yet AFL material.

In:
Hughes- better marker, ball reader then Wilson.

Acres

Bewley

NOD- debut someone. Who cares.

Watson- played well last week. Put him half forward. Better then the crap 3 of the smalls will offer

him lining up for a kick from 50 just says it all about the bloke. Rates himself alot higher than what he can actually do. Frequently bites off more than he can chew.

Rich is the slowest player in the AFL with zero lateral movement and Crowden couldn't shut him down.

**** sake, not this again.

Most teams would respond after an effort like today but I can't see us getting close. Hopefully a few consistent under-performers are shown the door at least.

Unfortunately it will be rinse & repeat next week v WC. The way Brisbane played today in forcing the turnover & then spreading from there is what WC do to us every time we play them.
We get sucked into the contest & allow them to control the outside which is impossible to defend. They don’t even need to bring the pressure Brisbane did today, they just have to get their hands on it half the time & then force us to kick down the line the other times & get the plus one at half back & attack from there.
It happens every fuchin time.

We arent going to play finals but the club needs to make a line in the sand this week and say enough is enough. 11 losing derbies in a row isnt good enough.

At least go into the offseason with the monkey off its back.
And a derby win would Give us that magical word " Hope " , Something at the moment i do not have

Out: Hope for this club's future
In: Another bottom 6 finish!

I agree Crapden covered 14.4ks (second most for the team) in 88% game time for 8 disposals (62% efficiency) and 1 tackle. Blakley got it 14 times in only 62% game time, with 85% efficiency and 2 tackles.

How is that even possible??? Was he running away from the contest?

Do you have Westerns stats for this? If he played more than 50% game time he has a serious talent for being invisible!

Out: Wilson (either injured or dropped), Tucker (was looking so promising at one point last season and is now just mediocre in all areas), Western (genuinely forgot he was playing a few times)
In: Hughes, NOD, Acres

Noddy to debut in place of Wilson.

The Eagles are garbage but will treat the game like their usual bi-annual GF. Here's what will happen:
  1. We'll not take note of how totally inept they are at defending the corridor against fast ball movement and instead kick slowly down the boundary lines to move the ball forward.
  2. We'll bomb it into their defence time after time and they'll mop it up like usual - McGovern/Hurn/Barrass will look like superstars.
  3. Their mids will shark Darcy's taps and will get on top of ours - pinpoint passing into their F50 to Kennedy/Darling/Ryan all day.
Rinse and repeat.
