Saints would be better off letting Ross and Dunstan go. Both know how to find the ball but with how poor they both are by foot it's almost better off if they didn't get as much at times.

Keep Billings though (if he's not demanding overs). players with the output of 20+ and a goal a game don't grow on trees.

While we wouldn't be able to offer as much on his contract, they'd make more money off the field marketed as a powerful key forward duo rather than individuals. Something you hope they are considering.
I maybe wrong but im not sure the attraction is as strong as it was for him to want to play with his brother , If he came back and played forward with max and max out performs him im not sure he would want that unless went back to his old spot in the back line then it would work IMO
And maybe he just wants to be his own man instead of being Max's brother

Would be a big contrast to his brother playing at their childhood club full of history and somewhere he is deeply passionate about compared to a plastic franchise with no soul.

Already got his big payout with 450k 'ambassador' money the AFL shelled out and cheated the SC for Fold Coast

They are not just brothers like the Danihers, they are not just twins like the Waughs, they are identical twins and have a very special and deep bond. Also thet are mad Saints supporters and his identical twin is at the Saints.

May not mean he comes, but that is the big differences with him being just a brother.

How could they afford him anyway

That would be fair. Seems like Max was always the higher rated player growing up so maybe being at his own club and being able to be the number 1 is refreshing and something he prefers.

But if he did move back to Vic and one of the things stopping him from joining us was not being able to offer as much on his contract, the off field potential of the marketing money they could earn together could help us get us over the line.

Well you just lost any credibility with me , Quoting Coops FMD

Well to be fair I didn’t say it was reliable… moreso just as a point for conversation as to why we may be able to talk about Cerra not going to Carlton. I don’t have any insider credibility, I’m not ITK.

Sorry mate , i was a bit rude saying that

Clarko seems too loyal to take over from Ratten considering they're good mates. Apparently he is still pissed off how Carlton treated Brendon Bolton

Then he definitely won’t go to the Blues. They’ve treated Teague abominably, no matter what you think of his coaching.
The Blues seem like they’re in self-destruct mode right now - long may it last!

If he is interested and how is the foot issue that kept him out this year.

He's still 29 and considering our lack of current options, there would be worse options out there.
What was the foot injury ? Will be 30 before next and his numbers have started dropping off the last few years
