2nds Port Adelaide vs South Adelaide - Round 18 @ Alberton

Remove this Banner Ad

Saturday 21st of August. 2:05pm at Alberton Oval.

This will be our 5th game on Channel 7.

If McKenzie is back in the AFL side, Clurey may drop back here. Fantasia is out for the AFL side and Motlop will be called up.

Goldsack and Carter should be assessed.

This game is a day after the AFL game, so the sub, if unactivated, can play (EG: Mayes). Sub activated Mayes can't play.

This should be the week where it becomes mathematically impossible to make finals.

SANFL radio commentator Phil Aspinal just said John Butcher is playing for the magpies this week. Surely not.
Can we contract players this late in the year?

Havent been to a sanfl game all year. Might head down to Alberton.
Do you get tickets at the gate? Or is my afl members card enough?
The AFL ticket should grant you 4 games.

Going to watch via the SNAFO app but jeez I'm looking forward to this.
Garner, Butcher, Lord up forward.

Only thing that could be better is bringing back Hodges and Evans also.

I'd settle for the Hodges and Evans signs to be fixed.

I watched when JB played his last game for the Maggie’s at Alberton at the end of 2016. There was one passage of play that was pure Butcher magic at the Scott end. He came out from the forward half to collect a ground ball, did a slow u turn and slotted the ball thru the middle from about the 50 metre arc. The Power boys up on the balcony certainly loved it
By the way we gave the Legs a bit of touch up that day! Great times!
