Happy for him to stay but, in my opinion at least, he hasn't done enough to justify his generous contract.

I don’t doubt we have been speaking to representatives from the Clarko and Lyon camps, but we are trying to handle the situation sensitively and professionally and that isn’t easy to do when you’ve already got a senior coach at the helm.
Knowing the club has been more guarded about the kind of information it allows to come out the info from EB is pretty much what you’d expect. The club still needs to keep itself in check and at least insinuate the correct process is adhered to, factoring in the review and the moving parts involved in an ongoing Home & Away season.

Lyon mentioned today on Triple M that part of the reason he wasn't interested in the job at the filth was because he wasn't interest in going through 'the process'. I'm paraphrasing but it implies that we will be making a direct appointment or we haven't had a genuine chat with him at all. I'm thinking the former..

Think it is more a general reference to Cerra wanting to head over.
With the season now over for both clubs I expect we will hear his decision in the next week.
Yes calling a review mid season and making it public is very sensitive and not disrupting at all even though technically the team could make finals.

I had a look. Barass said they would both get done early in trade period, but then backed back closer to trade period ending saying that swans were being difficult and it would only get done if they got Daniher.
He then said if GC didn't deal on Martin we would walk him to PSD.
He then said after trade period that Papley was furious with the swans for not doing a deal.
