I'll pit these examples up against your fixturing, stadium deals and favouritism of Joel Selwood..

I’ve always just seen it (the AFL) as the result of what would happen if you gave your local footy league a budget of several billion dollars, but kept the same local larrikins in charge. It’s far closer to incompetence, in my very humble, very ill-informed opinion.

I think if there’s one thing he isn’t, it’s smug. I think he calls most things fairly and without any bias. One of my faves.

I want to spend a minute talking about young Stocker.

He quite frequently puts on his Instagram story advice for those struggling with mental health. Last month he was comforting JSOS after the Collingwood game for Serge. Yesterday he was by TDK's side after he was knocked out. Just today he made another post saying how grateful he was for the opportunity to play for us.

This kid is something so special, a natural leader and a great person. I hope he gets a rising star nom this week.

So it is decided, I will be celebrating the absolute, concrete fact that Clarkson will be coaching the Blues next year. This is my affirmation. I will not end up with egg on my face.
