So Lyon and Buckley have been put forward as likely to be our coach.

That is so depressing.

Lyons last 4 years at Freo resulted in ladder finishes of 16th, 14th, 14th and 13th before getting sacked. Cmon people seriously.

Buckleys coaching tenure outside 2 good years in 2018 and 2019 was poor and he got sacked...has not done an apprenticeship to improve elsewhere.

Clueless.

But the first 4 years were really good! His teams do fall off a cliff after 4-5 years of contending and squeezing everything out of the list.

I'll take 4 years of contending for a premiership after 20 years of being shit. Then we'll rebuild after his 4-5 year term.

What kind of a look would it be if we fired Liddle, Lloyd + others and replaced them with bringing Williams on the board who brings Ross who brings SOS with him?

How is that anything but a boys club. Really makes me uneasy.

What is a boy's club? I mean, Liddle, Lloyd etc aren't girls. Is it because 2 of these guys used to play for Carlton, and for some reason we shouldn't have former successful players around the club because it feels too insular?

Surely, it has to be about ability? We've got players playing conditionally all the time and nobody that knows how to win is motivating them. We see players from other teams who are passionate about their team, club and guernsey. Do we?

I heard Barass70 dropped some bombs and felt now is a good time to slide down the piecart and get into the Bluemours.

I feel bad for Teaugey - would have loved him to have a year with the new front office changes. Looking forward to some defensive football with Lyon though.
