No I wasn’t someone else was, I just replied to your claim about how RTB left Fremantle & gave the stats of them then and them now, noting not much change despite their kids developing incredibly well. On paper, they where a worst list then they are now, yet now they are only 1 game better. Suggesting that the final year of RTB where they got as high as 5th before fading late (like lots of young teams) they actually over preformed

But the first 4 years were really good! His teams do fall off a cliff after 4-5 years of contending and squeezing everything out of the list.

I'll take 4 years of contending for a premiership after 20 years of being sh*t. Then we'll rebuild after his 4-5 year term.

My biggest concern is he did so with an ultra defensive gameplan.

After losing the GF in 2015 to Hawthorn, it was well publicised that Lyon wanted to move with the times and be more attacking. He recruited Hale and Guerra from Hawthorn to help with this.

From that point Freo did not finish higher than 13th. And the AFL rules have since changed to favour attack even more like lower bench rotations, stand on the mark and players able to run out of the goal square.

So, I think my concern is warranted that Lyon may not have the ability and know how to implement a successful gameplan in today's game.

No chance Lyon can make any statement on his future tonight if Teague still hasn’t been officially terminated. That would be incredibly poor form.

Not only that he can’t even state if he or his management has been spoken to. If Teague hasn’t been told he is gone they can’t go round interviewing or sounding people out at least not officially. If Ross is in the box seat he should politely decline being on the show tonight.
